Flip-Image Printing

Flip-Image Printing

What is Flip-Image Lenticular Printing?

The most common type of lenticular effect is a 2-image flip or a 3-image flip – when the images flip from one to the other as you tilt the printed piece in your hand, or as you walk past the lenticular poster or image.

Typically, the effect works better when you have fewer images flipping, as each image has more time to be seen by the viewer.

The exception to this would be a motion-video or animation sequence, which involves many images flipping.

The best lenticular flip effect is accomplished when you use images with similar tones. Flipping very dark images to very light images will create an undesirable ghosting effect.
