Lenticular Printing in Los Angeles!

This was certainly a motion Lenticular!

We placed a lenticular mural on both sides of a Double-Decker bus that drove around Los Angeles for a month! We had 3 areas of the graphics in motion with images flipping, and a static background and logos. Whether people walked past the bus while it was stopped, or the bus drove past them – in both directions – people would see the graphics moving and be intrigued with the animation.

We tiled 24 lenticular panels to completely cover each side of the bus…we applied full adhesive-backing to each panel, which enabled the lenticular graphic to be applied on top of the previous vinyl wrap, making it easy to remove when the 4 weeks were over.

Effect: The more that people are intrigued and engaged with the images, the more they internalize the marketing message.

We produced a 12-page brochure for a car company that needed to grab consumers’ attention.

We tipped an 8-image flip lenticular card to the front cover of the brochure that showed the northern lights flickering on and off the vehicle as you tilted the brochure back-and forth – it was compelling for the viewer to want to keep seeing the image change!

Anything that you can do to engage your consumer to spend more time with your marketing piece will inevitably lead to higher response rates.

Result: This mailing of 70,000 pieces produced a 13% response rate.

We recently produced a Lenticular Shelf Talker for a client…they wanted to place some form of POP in the 16,000 retail locations where their products are sold that would convey to consumers the many uses of their product…they were not allowed to use an electronic device, so they were thrilled when a 4-image flip lenticular counter card showed the motion they needed.

Lego asked us to produce a mall poster that would make consumers take a second look (and third, and fourth)…

When you first looked at the poster, you could see the Lego character in the forest scene, but after taking three steps to the left or right, the character disappeared!

Another three steps further and the character appeared again.

People walked back and forth to see the effect, each time internalizing the Lego brand!

Great use of lenticular.
